Arching leaves and little white bells give this Lily of the Valley study its fresh botanical shape. Reproduced from Susan Gordon's original watercolor, the signed and numbered archival print belongs to Heirloom Garden Floral Studies, Volume II, with framed and unframed choices.

“The white bells are the detail I would want to see at close quarters. A little wall beside a favorite chair would give their delicate shapes the attention they deserve.”
-Mrs. Mayfair

Keep in a dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Handle an unframed print with clean, dry hands at the edges and store flat in a protective archival folder until framing. Dust the frame gently with a soft microfiber cloth; keep water and cleaners away from the artwork and frame openings. Use secure fittings appropriate to the wall when hanging.

Maker / Heritage

Susan Gordon began her pottery business in a basement studio in 2013, bringing a background in ceramic sculpture and abstract painting to practical household objects. Her experience with paint still informs the gestures and surfaces of the work. In 2019 she opened a storefront and studio in Homewood, Alabama, where making and showing the pieces could sit together. The pottery passes through making, smoothing, glazing, gold decoration, sanding and a final check, with more than five pairs of hands and eyes involved. The hydrangeas outside her first garage studio became a recurring source of imagery, connecting the flowers of everyday life to the work of her hands. Her signed and numbered archival prints reproduce her original watercolors.
